Understand the math, not a forecast
Compounding applies each period's gain on top of the previous balance: final = start × (1 + rate)^periods. Small, steady percentages add up dramatically over many periods — which is why the calculator can show eye-popping numbers.
In reality, no one earns a fixed positive return every period. Markets have losing streaks, drawdowns, and variance. Treat this purely as an educational illustration of the formula, not as something to expect.
