Pip Value Calculator
A "pip" is the smallest standard price move in a currency pair. Knowing what a pip is worth for your position size tells you exactly how much each price tick gains or loses.

How pip value is calculated
For most pairs a pip is the 4th decimal place (0.0001); for JPY pairs it's the 2nd decimal (0.01). Multiply the pip size by your position in units to get the pip value in the pair's quote currency: a standard lot (100,000 units) on a non-JPY pair is 0.0001 × 100,000 = $10 per pip when the quote currency is USD.
If your account currency differs from the quote currency, multiply by the relevant exchange rate to convert the pip value into your account currency.
